Footwork:

From: Fair Lady Works at Shuttles, Left

Step 1: Bring 100% of the weight back onto the left leg allowing the right hand to trail, falling palm down (no lower than horizontal) extended towards the North West and allow the left hand to arrive palm up under the right elbow.

Step 2: Pick up the right foot and fold in the left hip turning a little more to the West, step across the left foot with the heel of the right and open up the instep of the right foot (so that the toes point towards the North West).

Step 3: Move all of the weight onto the right leg facing West leaving the right hand where it is but bring the left hand forwards with the body as though supporting a small ball between the hands (right hand can be on top or on the side of the ‘ball’).

Step 4: Step with the heel of the left foot looking for hip width towards the South West.

Step 5: Transfer more of the weight to the left leg while allowing the left hand to rise up the middle of the body (palm facing you) to arrive above the middle of your forehead.

Step 6: Turn the body to face South West and rotate the forearm(s) so the the left hand is now palm away and the right arm in the ‘Push’ while adjusting the toes of the right foot to form a ‘Bow Stance’ towards the South West.

NB: Ensure that the left heel is further to the West than the toes of the right foot.
